Established in 2001, Indigenous Perspectives is Central Australia’s first & only remote Indigenous consultancy firm, specializing in offering professional advice on issues relating to Indigenous health & nutrition, employment, training & Indigenous business development.
Our primary objective is to provide an accessible source of information, and sensitive cross-culture communication.
Achievements include:
- 2001 Kallarri Regional Outstation Policy and Plan, strategies, operations and administrative tool recommendations re: service provision - information collection.
- 2001-2003 Consultant and Indigenous Relations Manager to the Morris Corporation with responsibility for assisting with the tendering processes and facilitation the 35% employment of Indigenous employees in the catering section of the Alice Springs to Darwin Railway project and objective of being involved in the interview and mentoring of the employees
- 2004-2005 & 2005-2006 Department of Employment and Workplace Relations (DEWR) appointed mentor Arrerente Council of Central Australia Aboriginal Corporation
Business consultancy support to the Executive Director and newly appointed Board of the Council providing professional business assistance concerning the financial management of
operations, business mentoring and governance and/or compliance advice.
